Solo
Play (or Self Play) in the BDSM world may be in part due to the fact
that it is often difficult to find another with the same passions,
kinks and
desires
for walking on the edge in bondage and scene play or possibly at the
same level. Another contributing
factor may be fears of HIV and other STD's. And then, many
soloists admit that they are just enjoying themselves!
...that means by
themselves!!
After receiving emails and
phone calls
from many curious solo players, we decided to add this section. We hope
to clarify some of the issues and concerns regarding Solo Play. We want
to use this as the start of an open exploration as well as a place to
purchase the products for self play.
As with all BDSM play, we
always live by
the credo of safe, sane, but for solo play it's also conscientious!
Think
and rethink before you attempt any play. You are solely responsible for
your activities so when playing alone, you must be sure that you have a
clear understanding of whatever you are about to do. Plan your
activities
and prepare well. Have all of the necessary components opened and ready
for use. Use latex gloves
whenever possible to prevent any germs or infections.

Once again, be thoughtful
and cognizant
of what you are doing. Read up on the topic of self play that you are
about
to engage in and become knowledgeable about the subject before you
start.
We have a great library of books
on
various topics within the realm of solo play and other BDSM interests.
If you are unsure or doubtful, don't proceed any further.
Much of the plethora of
information available
for catheters, sounds play, enema
play, anal play, cbt
(Cock and Ball Torture) and nipple play and
others are written for the methodology of the practice, therefore, it
is
easy to assimilate the play for solo.
To help
identify the items
throughout the site which qualify as "Solo Play friendly",
we
instituted
a marking system using an icon :
So go explore! Have fun and always be safe and sane...
